New Feature Set For The Thesis Theme

As previously mentioned, in my choosing a premium wordpress theme post, Blogging Review is running on the Thesis Theme.  I was already a big fan of Thesis and today my adoration has been amplified.

Chris Pearson just announced some fantastic new updates taking Thesis to version 1.2.  These changes and additions really fill in the small gaps on my WordPress theme wish list adding even more value to my purchase.

Revolution Theme Is Going Open Source?

In a pretty bold move Brian Gardner, the premium Revolution Theme creator, announced that he is going open source.  The Revolution Theme is one of the first premium themes to really gain traction and is probably the most popular to be released yet.  Brian spells it all out on his his blog covering the details regarding the new open source content and his already paid customers.

Premium Wordpress Themes - Finding The Right One

In the early stages of developing BloggingReview.com I decided I wanted to launch the site with a premium WordPress theme.  Premium themes are all the rage right now and there are some really nice options out there.  Just about every theme I found had it’s own distinct set of features and benefits so the challenge was to find the right premium theme for my needs.

The premium theme I was looking for would offer the following:

  • Design Flexibility
  • 3 Column Option Preferred
  • Attractive “Out of the Box” typography
  • Solid Support, User and Knowledge base

Seems like a pretty simple list right?  Well, I’m a pretty particular person so it proved to be a bit more daunting than I originally thought.  After doing an exhaustive search I narrowed it down to 3 options.
